Grow Together in a Supportive Group Setting.

We offer more than 15 therapeutic groups each week, from social skills to self-esteem and parenting support. Each group is led by a licensed therapist and designed by age and developmental level.

Experienced Therapists
For over 20 years, our skilled therapists have specialized in teaching social skills to help children become more successful in their social interactions.

Real-Time Practice
Our social skills groups utilize real-time group activities, such as games, activities, or play, allowing participants to practice and generalize freshly acquired skills with other group members. During the practice time, therapists intervene as necessary to help guide the child, promote pro-social behaviors, and engage in appropriate social interactions. Our social skills groups are a place where kids learn to talk, listen, and not interrupt with random dinosaur facts.

Year-Round Sessions
At CSS, our social skills groups run year-round to provide the consistency and continuity needed to make meaningful progress. Social growth takes time and practice, and by keeping groups ongoing throughout the year, group participants can continue building on the skills they’ve learned- rather than starting over each season. This steady structure helps maintain connections, reinforce positive habits, and grow their confidence in real-life social situations.

Age and Gender Specific Groups
Our social skills groups are thoughtfully designed to be age and gender specific, creating a comfortable and relatable environment for every participant. Children and teens learn best when surrounded by peers who share similar developmental stages and social experiences. By grouping participants this way, we can focus on the sills and topics most relevant to their age-whether that’s taking turns and sharing for younger kids or navigating friendships, communication, and social dynamics for older youth.

Co-ed Options Available
At CSS we also offer co-ed groups for children, teens, and young adults who benefit from practicing communication and collaboration across genders. These groups mirror real-world social settings, allowing participants to build confidence interacting with a variety of peers. Co-ed groups focus on inclusivity, respect, and understanding different perspectives-skills that translate directly to school, friendships, and daily life. By working together in a supportive and structured environment, participants learn how to navigate mixed-group dynamics with empathy and confidence.

Special Summer Intensives & Camp-style Sessions
At CSS, we offer summer intensives and camp-style sessions that make social learning fun and hands-on. Through games, projects, and team challenges, kids practice communication, flexibility, and emotional regulation in real-world ways-building confidence and connection while enjoying the best part of summer.

Our social skills groups create a fun, low-pressure environment where kids and teens can practice real-world social skills with real-life peers—no flashcards, just games, laughter, and plenty of do-overs. Whether your child tends to talk non-stop or freezes up in groups, we help them build confidence, connection, and the kind of social smarts that don’t come from a textbook. It’s support with heart—and a little humor too—because social growth should feel encouraging, not intimidating. Even the smartest kids need help navigating the playground politics!
Our social skills group therapy is where kids and teens learn how to connect, communicate, and collaborate—all in a fun, supportive setting. Through games, role-play, and a little bit of structured silliness, we help them practice everything from making eye contact to handling tricky social moments. Whether it’s learning how to join a group, manage frustration, or just not talk about Minecraft for 20 straight minutes, we’re here to guide them. It’s real-life practice with real-life peers—because social skills are best learned in action, not in isolation.
